Sponsoring the MWAHFitness Charity Bootcamp

Mosaic CSE were delighted to sponsor the MWAHFitness Charity Bootcamp in Cator Park, Beckenham, on Sunday 16 April.

MWAHFITNESS was founded in 2020 by Mickey Wells, an award-winning independent fitness instructor and personal trainer who specialises in pre and postnatal fitness, menopause support, and Hatton Boxing training for adults and juniors.

In addition to hosting nutrition and wellbeing courses, MWAHFitness has held fitness charity events in support of Refuge and Young Women’s Hub, with this year’s bootcamp raising vital funds for Dementia UK in loving memory of Sandy Stone.

Running in conjunction with close friend Christine Ward’s ‘Walk 1k a Day in February’ challenge, organised by Dementia UK, Mickey explains; “Sandy was a fun, loving and caring mum and grandmother who was a dear friend to Christine for over 50 years. She had so much energy and was often raising money for charity before she was diagnosed with a rare form of Alzheimer’s called Posterior Cortical Atrophy in October 2018.”

“Sadly, she passed away in October 2021 and I wanted to help Christine raise money in her memory because we know Sandy would have loved raising awareness for those that we know who are still living with this awful disease.”

The bootcamp was a great success with over 40 people in attendance, raising £2,254 (and counting) for Dementia UK.
